Arsenal striker blamed the officials for cup final defeat to Manchester City.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has taken to Instagram to defend his team after their dismal showing in the Carabao Cup Final.

Manchester City beat Arsenal 3-0 in a one-sided ‘contest’ at Wembley on Sunday.

Arsenal’s players were slated by fans and pundits and Wilshere believes some of that was harsh.

He feels Manchester City should have had two of their three goals disallowed and says Pep Guardiola’s side should also have had a player sent off.

Wilshere’s message sounds as myopic as his manager and his bleating about refereeing decisions will win no sympathy, especially with frustrated Arsenal fans.

Manchester City supporters found it all quite amusing, and feel Wilshere is simply being a bad loser.

This Thursday’s Premier League game will certainly be interesting, as every Arsenal player will have a big point to prove. All Wilshere has done is motivate City to beat them down once again.

Here is a look at how Manchester City fans reacted to his message…
