Manchester City fans question Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier.

Tottenham Hotspur cashed in on Kyle Walker in the summer, and the right-back is currently unlikely to have any regrets.
Walker’s new club Manchester City have been in terrific form this season and their unbeaten record in the Premier League continued with a 4-1 win over Tottenham at the weekend.
One of the reasons Spurs were happy to sell Walker was because they had another talented right-back already in their first team, England international Kieran Trippier.

Many supporters spent the summer proclaiming Trippier as a better player to Walker, with a few pundits leading the charge.
Trippier was a former Manchester City trainee, who was let go to sign with Burnley after failing to crack their first team.
But it was not a happy return to Manchester for Trippier on Saturday evening.

The right-back was ripped apart by winger Leroy Sane, who continued his excellent second season in the Premier League.
City was were quick to point out after the game that the claims that Trippier was a better player than Walker had instantly been proven incorrect.
Here is a look at how Manchester City fans reacted on Twitter to Trippier’s performance for Tottenham…
