Manchester City fans angry by update on Fabian Delph’s move to Everton

I have to say that we are being robbed by Everton if they end up signing Fabian Delph for as little as £8m. That’s what we paid for him in 2015 – and there’s no doubt that he has grown as a player over these years. Although he’s not the most consistent player, he’s still quality.

Everton got that unexpected draw against Liverpool and then their fans sang “Blue moon” in the faces of the dirty reds. That’s worth 7M at least so it’s £15M really…

Fabian Delph might not be good for City, but that does not mean he isn’t a good player. For £8m he is a bargain. An experience pro with leadership qualities that a young team like Everton needs.
