Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are leading the race for Jude Bellingham, a player Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool also want to sign, according to GiveMeSport.

The report has claimed that Manchester City are now leading Liverpool and Real Madrid in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund and England international midfielder Bellingham in the summer of 2023.

Defending Premier League champions City paid £100 million to Aston Villa for England international attacking midfielder Jack Grealish, and they are reportedly willing to break their club record for Bellingham, described as “a fantastic player” by Tottenham Hotspur and England international striker Harry Kane on BBC Sport this month.

Manchester City or Liverpool for Jude Bellingham?

In our opinion, it would be hard for Jude Bellingham to pick between Manchester City and Liverpool next summer.

City and Liverpool are two massive clubs and global brands who regularly compete for the big trophies.

Bellingham will know that he will walk into the City or the Liverpool team, and he will also be aware that both the Premier League clubs can pay him big money.

In the end, it might come down to which club, Liverpool or Manchester City, are willing to pay more transfer fee for and salary to Bellingham.
