Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has told BBC Sport that he has not made a decision on the future of Rhian Brewster yet, amid reported interest from Leeds United.

According to a report in The Mirror in August, Leeds are interested in signing Brewster from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

The promoted Premier League club reportedly want to secure the services of the 20-year-old striker on a season-long loan deal.

The England Under-21 international striker has been training with the Liverpool first-team squad.

Liverpool boss Klopp has raved about the youngster, and has said that he has made no decision yet regarding his future.

Klopp told BBC Sport about Brewster: “Wonderful kid, big talent. The decisions about the squad are just not finished yet. We don’t have to yet.

“We are really with him and think about his development. How we can use him. So there’s nothing to say on loans. Nothing is decided.”

Moving on loan to Leeds United from Liverpool

Brewster is unlikely to play regularly for Liverpool this season, as it is hard to see the youngster displace Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino from the starting lineup.

Leeds have recently signed Rodrigo, who can play as a striker or as a winger, and Patrick Bamford remains an important player for head coach Marcelo Bielsa.

The Whites could do with a third striker even though they have Tyler Roberts, and a loan move to Elland Road would not be a bad idea for Brewster.
