The report published this afternoon has claimed that Wolves are considering making an offer to Martins.
The Premier League club are on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of Bruno Lage.
Wolves are looking at other candidates, but their number one managerial target is Martins, according to the report.
Earlier today, The Express & Star reported that the 52-year-old former Portugal international himself is keen on a move to Molineux Stadium.
