Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has won another trophy and now a treble amid strong links to Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur manager target Ange Postecoglou has become a treble-winner after his Celtic side won the Scottish Cup.

The Bhoys had to put all the speculation behind them on Saturday evening as they faced Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Cup final.

Postecoglou is being strongly linked with a move to Tottenham and Saturday may prove to have been his final Celtic game.

The Australian didn’t lose focus, guiding his side to a 3-1 win at Hampden Park.

Kyogo Furuhashi, Liel Abada and Jota – three players who have excelled in the Postecoglou era at Celtic – were fittingly all on the scoresheet.

Celtic never looked in danger in this game and unsurprisingly added another piece of silverware to their tally.

Postecoglou has now completed the treble this season, winning the Scottish Premiership, Scottish League Cup and Scottish Cup.

Celtic missed out on the Scottish Cup last season, but have now won yet another treble thanks to Postecoglou.

Tottenham Hotspur expected to ramp up Ange Postecoglou move

Reports from the London Evening Standard suggested last week that Tottenham would be ramping up their move for Postecoglou once the Scottish Cup was out of the way.

Tottenham didn’t want to make an approach before Celtic’s big game, out of respect for the Bhoys.

The speculation did still take over a little, but Tottenham are now expected to make their move very soon.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Celtic plan to hold talks with Postecoglou ‘at the beginning of next week’.

Celtic will be fighting to keep hold of their manager but Tottenham seem ready to accelerate in the coming days.

There may still be a chance that Postecoglou says no to Spurs, but the 57-year-old may well feel that this is an opportunity he just can’t turn down.
