Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel does not fancy a move to Tottenham Hotspur and would love to take charge of Real Madrid, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg on Twitter.

The journalist has reported that Tottenham are not a serious option for Tuchel, who is without a managerial role at the moment following his departure from Chelsea earlier this season.

Plettenberg has claimed that Tuchel wants to take charge of Real Madrid or Barcelona next and would also love to manage Juventus in the future.

There has been speculation in the English media in recent days linking Tuchel with Tottenham.

Antonio Conte is the manager of Tottenham now, but there are reports in the Italian media this weekend claiming that the former Chelsea and Juventus boss has decided that he will leave at the end of the season.

Could Spurs entice Tuchel?

In our view, Tottenham Hotspur are unlikely to be able to tempt Thomas Tuchel into becoming their manager anytime soon.

Yes, Spurs are a big and ambitious club, but Tuchel is used to winning trophies and competing for the big competitions with Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea.

The German boss has worked with world-class and big-name players such as Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Thiago Silva and N’Golo Kante, and we do not think that he will settle for a club who are just happy to finish in the Premier League top four and do not have a history of signing truly elite players.
