Burnley manager Sean Dyche has suggested Robbie Brady is destined to stay in the Premier League despite interest from Scottish giants Celtic, speaking to Lancs Live.

Brady’s contract will expire in July and, according to The Mirror, Celtic are looking into the prospect of signing the 54-cap Republic of Ireland international in a bargain deal.
A couple of long-term injuries mean Brady has struggled to live up to the £13 million, club-record transfer fee Burnley paid to sign him from Norwich City in 2017.
But the winger’s vision and devilish dead-ball ability means he could make a major impact north of the border while providing some much-needed competition for James Forrest on the right flank.
However, while Dyche was reluctant to give too much away, it doesn’t sound as though the Burnley boss is preparing to say goodbye to his long-serving wideman.
“The talks with all players are ongoing,” Dyche said when asked about Brady’s future.
“As soon as they’re a little bit into their contract, we always keep tabs with their agents and the players to let them know, so one will work itself out. If you can hit the right outcome financially.
“Most of the players here, not all but most of them, are satisfied with what we try to do here, their life here and the enjoyment they have from being here and wanting to be productive.
“But they still command a certain level of contract and we try to do what we can to make sure they’re happy and feel settled at the club and ready to play for the club.”
Brady earns £35,000 a week at Turf Moor, according to Spotrac.
It remains to be seen whether the former Manchester United youngster would want a pay rise to extend his stay in Lancashire.
