Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has raved about Ryan Kent on the club’s official Twitter page, and he has said that reported interest from Leeds United has not affected him.
According to The Times in August, Leeds have had a bid of £10 million for the former Liverpool winger turned down.
Earlier this month, Leeds Live also claimed of interest from Rangers in the 23-year-old winger.
Rangers boss Gerrard has spoken highly of Kent, and has been impressed with the form of the 23-year-old winger despite reports that Leeds – who will play in the Premier League this season – want him.
Staying at Rangers
Kent has been arguably the best player for Rangers so far this season, and has scored three goals in six Scottish Premiership matches, according to WhoScored.
The 23-year-old seems settled and happy at Rangers, and although Leeds are a massive club, Rangers are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title this season, and Kent knows that he is a key player in that quest.
Leeds will be aiming to have a good season in the Premier League and avoid relegation back to the Championship.
