Celtic manager Neil Lennon has raved about former West Ham United striker Albian Ajeti in The Times.
Ajeti joined Scottish Premiership giants Celtic from Premier League club West Ham in the summer of 2020.
According to BBC Sport, the Hoops paid the Hammers a transfer fee of £4.5 million to secure the services of the 23-year-old Switzerland international striker.
The youngster has made five starts and four substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic so far this season, scoring five goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
Ajeti has also made two starts and one substitute appearance in the Europa League for the Bhoys this campaign, according to WhoScored.
Lennon told The Times: “He [Ajeti] has been sensational for us, absolutely tremendous with the impact he’s had already.
“I’ll be delighted to have him, Édouard, Leigh Griffiths and Patryk Klimala because they’re all different kinds of strikers and they each bring a lot of quality to the team but Ajeti has shown his class.”

Mistake from West Ham United?
Ajeti could not make a huge impact at West Ham, as he made just 12 appearances for the Hammers and did not score a goal, according to BBC Sport.
However, the 23-year-old is a very talented striker, as he is showing at Celtic, and perhaps the Hammers should have persevered with him.
A poor season in England does not mean that Ajeti is a bad player, and he is proving his detractors wrong in the Scottish Premiership now.
