Jesse Marsch has told Leeds Live reporter Beren Cross that he is expecting movement in the ‘next few days’ regarding Raphinha – amid interest from Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Barcelona in the Brazilian.
Marsch confirmed that 25-year-old Raphinha returned to pre-season training at Leeds on Thursday. It comes after the Brazil international was given more time off after Brazil’s international fixtures in Asia this summer.
Of course, he remains a player that Leeds are likely to sell. He has two years left on his contract. If Leeds are to get full whack for the ex-Sporting Lisbon and Rennes star, they will have to cash in this summer.

Reports state that Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona want the £65million-rated star. Leeds have just brought in Luis Sinisterra, who is seen as Raphinha’s replacement. Marsch was asked about Raphinha.
The Leeds boss says that – ahead of this weekend’s trip to Australia for the next fortnight – that Raphinha might be on the plane, but he might not. He says that something could progress in the next few days.

Leeds now find themselves in a position where they might actually need to sell Raphinha. The club have spent very close to £100million on new players. Yes, Kalvin Phillips left for nearly £50million to Manchester City.
But the Whites have brought in a replacement in Sinisterra. They still have Jack Harrison, Dan James, Rodrigo and Crysencio Summerville. The Whites also want a striker and Raphinha cash will help them do that.
