Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic has lauded star player and reported Liverpool target Jude Bellingham as one of the most mature teenagers he has ever seen in his coaching career.

Speaking to the press via Dortmund’s official YouTube channel, the UEFA Champions League coach lauded the 19-year-old midfielder ahead of the Bundesliga side’s clash with Manchester City, with Bellingham yet again set to play a key role for the German giants in this crucial European fixture.

Bellingham’s form this season has hit new heights with the midfielder bagging eight goals already in all competitions as the former Championship star has also taken the captain’s armband on more than one occasion due to injuries for Marco Reus and Mats Hummels.

As a result, Premier League interest is now high in Bellingham, with the Athletic reporting that Liverpool have made the £49,000-a-week superstar their main target for the summer transfer window next year, with the aforementioned City and Real Madrid also chasing the Bundesliga star.

Next year is set to be a huge one for Bellingham, with a huge move likely on the cards for the England international, and for Terzic, the Dortmund star is simply one of the outstanding talents the Borussia coach has ever seen in his career as a manager.

Terzic said when asked about Bellingham’s qualities and his potential: “I think he’s the oldest 19-year-old I’ve ever seen. Not only do we benefit from him but Borussia Dortmund is also the right step for him. Jude will have a big impact not only with us but also with the England national team.

Bellingham’s potential is beyond scary at this point, with the England midfielder continuing to defy expectations with each new game for Dortmund this season. And as a result, the Bundesliga side should demand a record-fee for a midfielder next summer for the Liverpool target.

After all, Bellingham has the potential to become not only the best in his position, but arguably the best player in the world, and for an interested party like Liverpool, they must pay top dollar for a prospect of this potential, no matter how obscure Dortmund’s demands are.
