Marko Arnautovic became a hero and then a villain at West Ham United.

The striker starred under David Moyes with 11 goals in 31 games during the 2017-18 season, then hit another 10 goals in his second term.

Arnautovic then pushed for a move to China, and he is still out there with Shanghai Port as he earns huge money over in the Far East.

Now, one of his compatriots could end up making the move to East London, as Sasa Kalajdzic is wanted by West Ham according to the Daily Mail.

Kalajdzic is in ridiculous form at the moment, hitting eight goals in his last eight games for Stuttgart as well as three goals in his last two for Austria.

The giant 6ft 7in target man could earn a huge move this season, and West Ham are positioning themselves to sign him.

Austria boss Franco Foda has now told LAOLA1 that Kalajdzic could actually join forces with Arnautovic to lead his attack in the future.

“Marko is yet another type of player who can move well behind a striker, who runs into the rooms well,” said Foda. “He can hold the ball and, above all, plays final passes. That might be a good option for the future, playing Sasa and Marko,” he added.

Seeing a former West Ham favourite working with a potential Hammers signing would be fascinating for Hammers fans, and Moyes may actually wish he could pair them up just like Foda can.
