Tottenham Hotspur target Jeremy Doku appears to be on the move with boss Bruno Genesio hinting at a transfer.

Jeremy Doku seems to nearing a transfer away from Rennes amid recent links to Tottenham Hotspur.

Doku finds himself as a very wanted man in the final stages of the summer transfer window.

The Independent claimed just a few days ago that Tottenham have now joined the race to sign Doku.

Manchester City and West Ham United were also mentioned and it looks like Spurs are trailing those two clubs in the race.

Foot Mercato reported last week that Doku has an agreement on personal terms for a move to City as they seek a new winger.

Riyad Mahrez has left the club this summer and Doku is being lined up to replace him down the right flank.

The Guardian add that West Ham have now submitted a bid to sign Doku as they chase a major coup.

The Hammers are hopeful of tempting Doku with guaranteed first-team football but Rennes are demanding a huge £47million.

Jeremy Doku seems set for transfer amid Tottenham Hotspur rumours

Tottenham do seem to be very keen on adding more speed down the right flank amid links to Doku and Brennan Johnson.

Rennes boss Bruno Genesio has now given a major hint that Doku appears to be on his way out of the club.

Rennes drew 1-1 with Lens on Sunday but Doku was surprisingly only named as a substitute.

Doku did come on but his absence from the starting lineup has turned more than a few heads.

Genesio has now been quoted by RMC Sport as saying that Doku was one of the best players for Rennes last week, so his absence may point to an exit.

Genesio hinted that Doku may be on his way out of the club, telling everyone to draw their own conclusions but no deal is done yet.

“If he didn’t start today it’s just that… there we go. We’ll see. Because he was one of the best players in the match last week, it’s up to you to draw the conclusions. Nothing is done,” said Genesio.

We would make Spurs the third-favourites in this race for Doku but they may well be ready to make a splash after selling Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.
