West Ham United are preparing for a summer of upheaval after David Moyes, who had been in the job since 2019, decided the time was right to leave the Hammers.
After lifting the Europa Conference League crown with West Ham United, David Moyes went down as a Hammers legend but things never quite kicked on for the East London side as they struggled to break into the European places under the Scotsman and finished in ninth position.
Former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Julen Lopotegui is set to take over at the London Stadium and will be hoping to make a big impact for the Hammers.
The Spaniard will hope to be given the funds that he never really was provided with at Molineux to turn West Ham into a top eight club and are already in negotiations for one exciting signing.

Corinthians boss on Wesley Gassova
HITC reported earlier this week that the Hammers were in negotiations with Brazilian side Corinthians for teenager Wesley Gassova but the Premier League club were only willing to pay half of the £25 million fee demanded by the South American side.
Gassova would not be the first export from Brazil to rake in big money with Palmeiras forward Endrick, who joined Real Madrid for £60 million and Willian Estevao from the same club, who looks set to join Chelsea for a similar fee, being two other big money sales.
It seems that Corinthians boss Augusto Melo has already accepted that the forward will be on his way out of Brazil but he did admit, when speaking to RadioItatiaia, that he was worried about losing the teenager.
“I am worried. I am a coach and I want those who can help us achieve something, he is fundamental. Therefore, it [losing him] is something that worries me as a coach,” he said.
Other clubs could be tempted to enter Wesley race
It is also our understanding that the East London side aren’t the only team understood to be interested with Fulham, Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion circling if the Hammers fail to agree a price.
All four of the sides who are understood to be interested in the Corinthians teenager have lodged formal enquiries to the Brazilian club.
A right-footed winger who predominantly plays on the left, Wesley has seven goals and four assists during his time at the Brazilian club and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him move to England this summer.
