Celtic have had next to no luck with injury under Brendan Rodgers this season.

Scotland Under-20’s manager Scot Gemmill has been quoted by the Scottish Sun as saying that Celtic have suffered another injury hit, in the form of winger Mikey Johnston.
Brendan Rodgers has had to tend with multiple injury concerns this season, with two of those being anterior cruciate ligament problems suffered by Daniel Arzani and Kouassi Eboue. They will be sidelined for the rest of the season.
Senior quartet Craig Gordon, Scott Brown, Olivier Ntcham and Leigh Griffiths currently remain on the treatment table at Parkhead, and now another Celtic player is set to join them in Johnston.
That is after the 19-year-old was withdrawn from the Scotland Under-20 squad, along with Hearts ace Callumn Morrison, with Gemmill stating that he “isn’t ready”.
Johnston has broken into the Celtic side this season on a more regular basis under Rodgers, making nine appearances in all competitions with the Hoops. He is currently providing cover for James Forrest and Scott Sinclair.

The winger even came on for the last 20 minutes of Celtic’s most recent Scottish Premiership win, as they clipped Hearts 5-0. However, he was left out of the squad that failed to beat newly-promoted Livingston.
It remains to be seen how long the Celtic academy product will be sidelined for, as well as the severity of the injury.
