The Rangers striker has yet to feature for the Ibrox side and could have his exit sanctioned by Steven Gerrard.

The young Rangers striker, Andrew Dallas, has made a positive impression on his potential new boss.
Dallas scored at a prolific rate for Rangers’ development sides last season and continued where he left off in a closed-doors friendly against Cambridge United last week.
That prompted the Cambridge boss, Colin Calderwood, to request the Rangers academy product’s services on trial.
And after appearing for the U’s against Leicester City on Tuesday, Dallas is expected to remain at the Abbey Stadium for Ipswich Town’s visit on Saturday.
But speaking to Cambridgeshire Live afterwards, Calderwood admitted he is keen to secure a more fixed-term arrangement with Rangers.
“I must admit I quite like what I see in him,” said the Scottish boss. “What a tough ask to be examined against this opposition tonight [Leicester].
“There were moments in his movement that I liked when the ball came back to us.
“It would be very positive if we could get a deal done with him.”

Rangers have already allowed a pair of strikers, Ryan Hardie and Kyle Lafferty, to leave since the end of last season.
And those departures have left behind just Jermain Defoe and Alfredo Morelos as specialised centre-forwards.
Whether Dallas would join Cambridge on a permanent or temporary basis remains to be seen.
