Tottenham Hotspur have been pursuing Malcom.

Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of signing Malcom have been given a boost by comments from current Bordeaux boss Gus Poyet.
Poyet was appointed by Bordeaux in January and put his foot down immediately by insisting Malcom would be going nowhere.
Heading into the summer, Poyet is envisioning a major clearout at the French side.

He was quoted by Sud Ouest: “Of 30 players, there are 10 who will stay, 10 who will leave. The others are more difficult.”
The easiest way for Bordeaux to rebuild of course is by cashing in on their star man, who The Telegraph linked with a £35 million move to Spurs.
Pressed specifically about Malcom’s future, Poyet admitted that the Brazilian could be off.
Poyet was quoted by Girondins 33: “This summer, I do not know what will happen … but I think it’s a big possibility he’ll leave. If he’s already gone in his head? I do not know, it’s a good question. But you have to ask him.
“We have to adapt ourselves to the players, and to accept things really hard to accept.”

Poyet appears braced for the fact Malcom wants to move on and this gives Tottenham a chance to get their man.
RMC Sport reported in March that Mauricio Pochettino still has his heart set on signing Malcom this summer and has been in contact with the winger.
