Manchester United fans are hoping to see more transfer activity before the deadline passes.
Midfield was a clear issue for Manchester United in their loss to Fulham. The area has been a concern all season, and nothing changed at Craven Cottage.
Bruno Fernandes had an off day, Casemiro was taken off after fading, and Manuel Ugarte struggled to make any impact, while Kobbie Mainoo was left out again.
The Red Devils have one week left to address these issues before the transfer window closes, and revisiting one of their transfer targets would not be a bad choice.
Carlos Baleba’s difficult day against Everton

Just before Man United were held to a 1-1 draw with Fulham, Brighton fell to a 2-0 defeat away at Everton.
Carlos Baleba did not have the best of days, coming off at half-time after just 17 touches with his side already trailing 1-0. It was the kind of performance that can happen when transfer rumours are swirling, and United have shown interest in him recently.
Brighton blocked United’s interest in Baleba, even though it would have commanded a club-record fee.
While he did not play like a £100 million player against Everton or even half of that, his performance may pose a dilemma for Brighton that the Red Devils could end up solving.

Why a late move for Baleba could work for United and the player
If Carlos Baleba has had his head turned, with Manchester United reportedly staying in regular contact, Brighton will need to find a way to get him back on track.
The Seagulls may also see the financial side of this and realise they still have a chance to cash in on the Cameroonian international.
If he continues to put in performances like the one against Everton, his value could fall quickly before the next transfer window. And by then, United’s interest might have faded completely.
With just under seven days left before the deadline, it might be wise for the Red Devils to reach out again and see if there is a deal to be made.
Ruben Amorim is feeling the pressure after some poor results, and Baleba might need a fresh start too based on how he played against Everton.
If Brighton show any signs of softening their stance that Baleba is not for sale, it is a risk United should consider taking.
