Manchester United’s summer spending has already hit the £200 million mark, but their work in the transfer market is far from finished.
Saturday saw a full Old Trafford crowd welcome all four of this summer’s new faces, including Benjamin Sesko, who arrived for £66 million.
The Slovenian striker joins Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Diego Leon as the latest additions to Ruben Amorim’s squad. But despite those signings, Ineos continue to explore further options in the market.
The club have also opened talks with Brighton over a potential move for Carlos Baleba, with Ineos considering a significant bid for the midfielder.
The search for reinforcements does not stop there. Man United are also looking at their goalkeeping options and have been linked with one of the game’s top keepers.
Gianluigi Donnarumma in Ballon d’Or race amid Man United interest

With question marks still lingering over the futures of Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir, United have turned their attention to Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer.
The club’s interest in Donnarumma dates back to 2017, when Jose Mourinho first tried to bring him in during his time at Old Trafford.
Talks over a new contract with PSG haven’t gone smoothly for Donnarumma, making him a realistic option on the market this summer.
Bringing in Donnarumma would not just add a Champions League winner to the squad – he has also just picked up a Ballon d’Or nomination.
Donnarumma, now 26, already has the Yashin Trophy, Italy’s Golden Boy award, and a spot in the 2024/25 Champions League Team of the Season under his belt.
And there’s every reason to believe he still hasn’t hit his peak yet.
Donnarumma could be signed for only £26m
Reflecting on Donnarumma’s performances in the Champions League, Declan Rice described him as “unbelievable” after PSG knocked Arsenal out of the competition.
Having played a key role in PSG’s league and European success, the Italian star is reportedly interested in a move to the Premier League.
Donnarumma is reportedly keen on a summer move to Manchester United, with Paris Saint-Germain open to a £26 million transfer, according to Anil Kandola of talkSPORT.
The report also mentions that United have not made an official move yet, but he appears to be a realistic target for Ineos.
The main obstacle could be his wages. However, securing top talent rarely comes without a significant cost.
