Ashley Young swapped Aston Villa for Manchester United eight years ago.

Manchester United’s Ashley Young has been urged to re-join Aston Villa this summer……by fans of his current club.
United signed the 33-year-old from Aston Villa in 2011, and Young congratulated his former club on winning promotion back to the Premier League following Monday’s playoff win over Derby at Wembley.
The England international, who turns 34 in July, struggled for the Red Devils this past season, though he remained a first-team regular under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
And fans of the Old Trafford club have brutally told him to re-sign for Aston Villa after his tweet.
It seems very possible that Young – contracted until 2020 – will be moved on this summer and although Aston Villa’s top-flight return might prompt a bit of speculation, the Villans don’t need him.
The former Watford winger-turned-defender is on around £110,000 per week at Old Trafford [Total Sportek] and although Villa are set for a huge windfall, they shouldn’t use it to fund the salary of a player well past his prime.
