The agent of another Bologna forward has admitted that reported interest from Manchester United is ‘obvious’.

Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are set for a busy summer with recruitment, particularly now that the club’s backroom staff is in place to carry out these key operations.

Dan Ashworth was confirmed as the club’s new sporting director last week with former RB Leipzig and Chelsea’s technical director Christopher Vivell being brought in to help shape the club’s transfer strategy.

A new forward is one of the club’s priorities targets with Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee closing in on a move but another forward from the Italian side has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Dan Ndoye’s agent responds to rumours of Man United move

Swiss wide man Dan Ndoye certainly had an impressive Euro 2024 tournament for his national team as they reached the quarter-final before losing to England on penalties.

For Ndoye, the winger netted once for his national team during the tournament in Germany but was nevertheless impressive throughout.

This has naturally led to transfer speculation around the forward and United have been mentioned as a side who could raid Bologna for another player.

Ndoye’s agent Fahd Adamson was asked about interest from Old Trafford and was rather frank with his response.

“Well, that’s kind of obvious,” Adamson responded when Blick asked about the interest from United. “United belongs to INEOS, and Dan has already played for the other INEOS clubs, Nice and Lausanne.

“Let’s see what comes of it. We need to discuss this with Dan and his family. It needs to be carefully considered to avoid making a wrong career move.”

‘Fantastic’ Ndoye attracting Premier League interest

As well as confirming that United’s interest in the winger is ‘obvious’ Adamson also admitted that several Premier League sides are keen.

Last season for Bologna, it was a rather poor one for Ndoye as he netted just once in 32 games for the club and provided one assist.

His national team manager Murat Yakin labelled the winger as ‘fantastic‘ following their victory over Italy in the last 16 but the Red Devils have to be wary of signing a player off the back of a good international tournament, it is certainly a risk.
