Some Liverpool fans on Twitter are gushing over Andy Robertson’s performance away to Newcastle United last night.
Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League champions had something of an off-day and were held to a 0-0 draw at St James’s Park on Wednesday.
Most of Liverpool’s goals this season have come from Mo Salah, but Newcastle goalkeeper Karl Darlow kept out the Egyptian attacker on a couple of occasions with some fine saves.
At the other end, the Reds had to be alert too and the Scotland international was excellent in a defensive sense and an attacking sense.
Some of the passes he played ultimately led to Liverpool creating some big chances.

Robertson, an £8 million signing in 2017, has been a revelation for Liverpool these past few years.
In fact, he might be the biggest bargain that Michael Edwards has ever pulled off on Merseyside when you consider the price fee, relative to what Liverpool could potentially sell him for.
