Elliott was featured on Goal’s NxGn list, which highlights just how highly regarded the Liverpool winger is.
It is no surprise to see Elliott earning such praise, after what has been an extremely productive season out on loan at Blackburn Rovers in the Championship.
And the Liverpool attacker was inundated with messages from multiple players after his latest post.
City youngster Rogers, who is currently out on loan at Lincoln, wrote: “Love it you.”
Adam Armstrong, Ian Rush and Jose Enrique also left messages of congratulations, after the news broke.
There is great excitement at Liverpool about Elliott’s future, and this award will only help to increase his profile.
Elliott has scored five goals and claimed 10 assists in the Championship this term, which is a highly impressive return for a player of such tender years.
