Manchester City are reportedly monitoring AC Milan winger Rafael Leao, with Arsenal and Tottenham also believed to be interested in signing the Portuguese international.
According to the Daily Mail, Pep Guardiola is planning ahead for the summer transfer window, with an inside forward being considered by City as a prime target for the Manchester giants, with Leao one of the main options the reigning Premier League champions are looking at.
According to journalist Dean Jones, though, Arsenal are also interested in signing Leao, whilst TuttoMercatoWeb have also reported that Tottenham are fans of the attacker, though Milan will currently only sell the winger if his €150m (£130m) release clause is matched.
With City now in the race, though, there is now a realistic chance that the Etihad Stadium side could meet Milan’s demands for their star winger, and for Arsenal and Tottenham, they could now face simply no chance in trying to land the 23-year-old forward in the summer.
Leao could be one of Manchester City’s best signings under Guardiola

Leao is regarded by many as one of the best wingers in world football and a talent who has the potential to go all the way in the future, and for City, the forward could easily be of Guardiola’s best-ever signings since joining the Manchester side.
With Erling Haaland leading City’s attacking line this season, adding more firepower in the form of Leao would make the Premier League giants one of the most dangerous clubs in all of Europe, and the Portuguese star himself could be open to such a transfer if a bid was to be made in the summer.
