The Man City star provided the assist for Leroy Sane to net their second goal against Man United at Old Trafford in Wednesday’s Premier League derby.

Manchester City have delivered with their Premier League game in hand by clinching a superb 2-0 derby win over bitter rivals Manchester United and leapfrogging Liverpool back into top spot in the table on Wednesday night.
The first half at Old Trafford ended goalless but Pep Guardiola’s charges broke the deadlock on 54 minutes when Bernardo Silva, on his 100th appearance for the club, rifled home a low shot from 15 yards beyond David de Gea at his near post.
Just 12 minutes later, the Citizens doubled their lead and all but killed off the game with another low effort, this time from substitute Leroy Sane, despite De Gea getting a touch on the effort with his foot.
The result sees Man City return to the summit with 89 points from 35 games, one point ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s side and also with a better goal difference, and now the fate of the title is firmly in the hands of the incumbent champions.
