- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
HITC understands that the representatives of RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo are working hard and talking to a number of clubs about a move this summer.
Dani Olmo has been one of the standout players at Euro 2024 with the Spanish midfielder being joint top goalscorer during the competition in Germany.
With the final on Sunday set to be contested between England and Spain, the attacking midfielder could yet end up with a trophy and a winner’s medal this weekend.
HITC has been told that the RB Leipzig midfielder has a release clause that remains active up to July 20th that would allow him to leave RB Leipzig for €60million (£52 million).

Premier League interest
HITC understands that Leipzig would be loathed to lose Olmo as they also look unlikely to bring Xavi Simons back to the club.
Simons who is currently contracted at Paris Saint-Germain spent last season on loan at Leipzig but a return to the German side is looking unlikely.
As for clubs interested in Olmo, sources have told HITC that Barcelona are long-term admirers of Olmo, and have been spoken to, but their priority remains Nico Williams.
The most likely option remains a move to England, and HITC can confirm that all of the Premier League ‘big clubs’ have been spoken to.
Champions Manchester City are understood to be one of the clubs who admire the midfielder and have been spoken to but with Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva on their books, he is not seen as a priority.
Arsenal and Chelsea have also been spoken to about a deal, but the chances of a bid being lodged before July 20th are slim.
Olmo opens up on future
With the midfielder still away on international duty, Spanish outlet El Larguero caught up with the midfielder and asked him about his future.
“Clause until July 20? Yes, if clubs want me, they know what they can do,” he said.
“There’s time until July 20th for the clause otherwise later it’d be tough negotiations. I’m under contract at Leipzig and I want to win titles.”
Another club who are understood to hold an interest is Aston Villa, through Monchi and Unai Emery, are keeping tabs on the midfielder’s situation.
