Wilks netted for Stanley in their match against Middlesbrough’s under-21 side, to take his total to three goals since joining Accrington from Leeds United.
And the Leeds youngster could not hide his delight at getting on the scoresheet for the second match running.
Wilks’ impressive start at Accrington is only helping to develop his reputation at Elland Road, and all eyes are now on him.
Wilks’ tweet was greeted with a lot of positivity from Leeds fans, who are all excited by the youngster’s potential.
Wilks has made just one senior appearance for Leeds to date, but at the age of 18, he still has plenty of time on his side and is very highly regarded by the coaches at Elland Road.
Accrington’s next match comes against Cheltenham in League Two on Saturday, and Wilks looks likely to feature in that contest.
