The Leeds United youngster could make his debut this evening.
Leeds United face Cambridge United in the third round of the FA Cup this evening, and given their promotion push it would be no surprise to see the Whites make some changes to their starting XI, especially with a league game against Derby County just five days away.
A potential indicator came earlier today, when Leeds’ under-23 side faced their Hull City counterparts and exciting young forward Mallik Wilks was nowhere to be seen.

The 18-year-old is highly regarded at Leeds and has been impressing for the second string this season, to such an extent that he is one of the first names on the team sheet at under-23 level.
In fact, he had previously failed to miss a match at that level all season, so could his absence from the clash against Hull suggest he will be included in Garry Monk’s senior side this evening?

It is certainly possible, with the Leeds gaffer expected to rest some key men and potentially giving fringe and academy players a chance to impress.
If Wilks features at any point it would mark his Leeds debut and if he plays to his full potential he could force his way into Monk’s thinking for the rest of the campaign and beyond.
