Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers should bring Swansea City-owned Barnsley striker Oliver McBurnie to Ibrox to partner him with Gers star Jason Cummings, currently on loan from Nottingham Forest.

Oliver McBurnie may be on loan at Barnsley from Swansea City at the moment, but the in-form striker has made it clear that he dreams to play for Rangers, having supported the Ibrox club as a boy.
The 21-year-old striker, who joined Barnsley on loan from Swansea City in the January transfer window, told The Scottish Sun this week that he would love to play for Rangers in the future.
Alfredo Morelos may have signed a new contract with Rangers this month, but the Colombian striker could well attract interest in the summer transfer window.
With Jason Cummings playing well for the Gers since his loan move from Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window, it would not be a surprise if the Glasgow giants make his deal permanent in the summer.

McBurnie, who has scored six goals in eight Championship starts since his loan move in January, and Cummings have a good relationship, as the following comments from Barnsley midfielder Stevie Mallan show.
The 21-year-old midfielder has outlined just how excited his Barnsley teammate McBurnie was to see Cummings when they lined up at the Scotland national football team during the international break.
These comments should convince Rangers director of football Mark Allen to seriously look at the prospect of pairing McBurnie and Cummings together in attack, as the two players’ off-pitch relationship could well explode in a superb on-pitch goal fiesta.

Mallan told The Scottish Sun: “For the first two nights the 21s were in the same hotel as the first team squad. I met up with Oli and John McGinn.
“Oli was more excited about seeing Jason again. That’s all I hear! I’ve seen a few videos on Twitter of them together. There’s a lot of energy in that room!”
