Barcelona could offload Malcom this summer in order to land Maxi Gomez.

According to Marca, Barcelona may cash in on winger Malcom this summer in order to facilitate a move to sign Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez.
Gomez, 22, has impressed since joining Celta from Defensor Sporting in 2017, and has notched five goals in 25 games for the struggling Galicians this season.
The Uruguayan is almost certain to leave Celta this summer, and Barca are looking to join him up with his international teammate Luis Suarez.
However, Gomez is a non-EU player, and with Barcelona at their limit in that regard, either Malcom or Arturo Vidal are likely to be offloaded, according to Marca at least.
Malcom’s potential availability isn’t a surprise having failed to make an impact under Ernesto Valverde, and it may alert some Premier League clubs, and Everton would figure to be in the mix amid continued links to the Brazilian winger.
Sky Sports claimed last summer that Everton were in talks with Bordeaux about a deal before he joined Roma, whilst Marca suggested in January that the Toffees were again keen.

Malcom would fit the bill for Everton in their problem position on the right flank, cutting on his dangerous left foot just as he did with Bordeaux, whilst Everton have strong links to Barcelona having signed three of their players last summer.
This summer would be the ideal time for Everton to strike and finally sign Malcom, with Barca seemingly ready to cut ties with the 22-year-old in order to boost their own transfer hopes.
