Malaga boss Michel has been quoted by Football Espana as saying that Everton forward Sandro Ramirez wants to leave the Toffees in order to return to Malaga.
Sandro was made surplus to requirements by Barcelona in 2016, and he chose to make a move to La Liga rivals Malaga in a switch which changed his career.
The 22-year-old hit 16 goals in 31 games for Malaga last season, becoming one of the most dangerous attackers in La Liga before making a move to England.
Sandro was expected to make a real impact when he joined Everton, being billed as a bargain signing – but it has proven to be a frustrating campaign for the Spaniard.
Sandro has notched just one goal in all competitions for Everton, whilst he has just three Premier League starts to his name, and hasn’t appeared at all under new boss Sam Allardyce.
The forward’s future is already in doubt, with links surrounding a return to Spain emerging ahead of the January transfer window, even if only on loan.

Now, Malaga boss Michel has been quoted by Football Espana as saying that Sandro wants to leave Everton in January, and believes the striker wants to return to Malaga.
With Malaga sitting 19th in the La Liga table, Sandro’s return could be a major boost – but Michel was unsure whether negotiations over a deal will come to fruition.
“I’m hopeful,” said Michel. “Players play where they want, and I think Sandro wants to come and play for Malaga again. From there, everything is subjective and depends on certain situations and negotiations,” he added.
