Gary Neville told Sky Sports that it’s making him ‘more angry’ after being told about the ‘patronising’ comments from Arsenal director, Josh Kroenke.
After the European Super League hit the likes of Arenal in the face, those in the boardrooms of those six English clubs went begging for forgiveness after their attempted plans had failed.
Kroenke Jnr recently told an Arsenal supporters forum that the ‘global fans’ want to see Arsenal v Barcelona, whilst English fans want those ‘cold nights in Stoke’, as he tried to explain why the club pushed for a breakaway in the first place.
When Neville was told about Kroenke’s comments from Sky commentator, Martin Tyler, he was left fuming.
Tyler said “The Kroenke’s referenced a midweek trip to Stoke and English fans need that. And global fans want Barcelona every other week. That they were representing those – it’s patronising beyond belief.”
“Martin, honestly, you are making me more angry, the more that you speak,” said Neville. “Honestly, they are an absolute disgrace.
“Those three clubs (Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal) are standard-bearers in English football, in terms of success and joy around the world.
“The hundreds of millions of fans around the world, who have watched those three clubs. And to be represented in such a fashion, honestly!”

The problem facing Mikel Arteta now is that if Arsenal falters in the Europa League then the noise from the supporters will be pretty loud and ferocious.
Added with an abject Premier League campaign, they could end the season with no trophy and worry from fans that they won’t push the boat out in the transfer market.
If any deal can be done for Arsenal supporters this summer then it’s wanting their American owners to finally say goodbye.
