Individually, it was a pretty poor season for Roberto Firmino at Liverpool last time around.
The Brazilian striker only managed nine goals in 48 games for Liverpool across all competitions.
And for an attacking player, it’s a pretty awful return.
We all know that Firmino has other responsibilities on the field other than finding the net but, even still, it’s poor.
His poor Liverpool form has seen him dropped from Brazil’s first XI during the Copa America too, but he was among the heroes for his country this morning.
The Selecao came from a goal down to beat Colombia 2-1 in the early hours.
And it was a header from the Reds’ number nine – a £29 million signing in 2015 – which earned Brazil an equaliser on 78 minutes, albeit with a hint of poor goalkeeping from David Ospina.

Firmino replaced Everton Ribeiro at the half-time break and it’s clear that he had a major impact.
The 29-year-old is yet to start a game during the competition but he may just get the nod to make the first XI in Brazil’s last Group B game against Ecuador on Sunday.
As he proved for Liverpool last season, Firmino, who scored a brace in the big 4-2 win away to Manchester United toward the end of the campaign, is capable of having a massive impact.
And he’s proven it again this morning.
