Some Everton fans have been relishing in Sam Allardyce’s misery after his post-match comments in wake of West Brom’s loss to the Toffees.

There’s not much love lost between Allardyce and the Everton fanbase, with both parties seemingly still harbouring a bit of ill will towards one another after his uninspiring spell in charge at Goodison Park.

Allardyce didn’t get the better of his former employers this time around, but it’s fair to say he wasn’t impressed by how they played, commenting that they barely created any chances during the game, claiming that his side’s disallowed goal should have stood.

“Everton are riding high apparently at the top of the league and created little or no chances tonight. The goal was only a half chance. Then we scored a great goal and it was half a toenail offside,” Allardyce said.

Everton fans didn’t take much notice of what he said, instead basking in the glory of Allardyce’s perceived bitterness.

To be fair, Big Sam didn’t handle this defeat in the most gracious way possible, and Everton fans were quick to pick up on and poke fun at his demeanour.

Here’s what the Goodison Park faithful have been saying on social media…
