Some Arsenal fans on Twitter are saying the same thing about William Saliba after a photo of him in training was doing the rounds on Friday afternoon.
Saliba has returned to London Colney this week after spending last season on loan at Saint Etienne in his native France.
Arsenal shelled out £27 million to sign the 19-year-old last summer and, given the price-tag, there’s a lot of expectation on the young man’s shoulders.
But he certainly looks big enough to be able to carry such a burden.
Saliba stands at 6’4 and some Gunners fans on Twitter yesterday was stunned to see him tower over his team-mates just before training.
Here’s how they’re reacting to the photo on social media:
How Arsenal fans – and Mikel Arteta – would love to have him available today.
Arteta’s side face Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley and the Spaniard has a bit of a dilemma with Shkodran Mustafi ruled out through injury.
If he was available, Saliba would be the ideal replacement to partner David Luiz at the heart of Arsenal’s defence, but instead it’ll be Rob Holding or Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
