Jordan Henderson told Amazon Prime that Mohamed Salah was ‘outstanding’ once again for Liverpool after they beat Everton 4-1 on Wednesday night at Goodison Park.
The Liverpool midfielder, who got on the scoresheet himself, stated that someone like Salah ‘makes my life a lot easier’.
It was another game, more goals, this time a brace, from a player that is possibly the best in the world right now.
In truth, given the relentless form Jurgen Klopp’s side have been in of late, Everton’s currently crumbled and wrecked train was never going to stop their bitter rivals from causing havoc last night.
After the game, Henderson was full of praise for his teammate and what he does so well.
“He has been outstanding this season again,” said Henderson. “You know he’s going to create chances and score goals.
“At the minute, you wouldn’t want to play against him. He’s a joy to play with and he makes my life a lot easier.
“I just give him the ball and he goes and puts it into the back of the net. Another outstanding performance from him.”

It begs the question as to how a player of Salah’s qualities can only land himself in seventh spot for the 2021 Ballon d’Or.
Liverpool may have struggled last season with form, but one player that didn’t lose his form or confidence was Salah himself.
And now Klopp has a fully-fit team to pick from, Salah has once again taken his game to beyond expert levels, yet it wasn’t even worthy of him being named in the Ballon d’Or’s top three list of players.
Either way, what is their loss is Liverpool gain because the Egypt international will only do his talking out on the pitch, which will bode well for his side.
