The 23-year-old is back in Villa training after posting a picture of him kicking a ball on his Instagram story.
Whilst Ahmed Elmohamady has done a solid job for Villa during these past four Premier League matches, he cannot bring to the table what Cash has produced this term.
The £16m summer signing (BBC Sport) has been one of Villa’s best players and an addition that wasn’t expected before a ball was kicked this term.
Cash’s all-out energy on the right-hand side, aggression and willingness to defend with all his might has made him a popular figure with the Villa supporters.
Hopefully, from Villa’s perspective, he has done enough training to start against Newcastle tomorrow night.
Villa are just hovering below the European places, with a game in hand, and they will be well aware that their motor has to seriously run now if they are to finish in the top seven.
Jack Grealish may not be available for those in Claret & Blue to boost those European chances, but at least there is some positive news in regards to Cash.
