Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to reveal their love for a photo which emerged prior to kick-off in yesterday’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea.
The image in question shows Dean Smith chatting to Tammy Abraham out on the Stamford Bridge pitch.
Of course, it was under Smith’s guidance that the 23-year-old England international truly blossomed at Villa Park during the 2018/19 campaign.
Having been signed on a season-long loan from Chelsea by Steve Bruce, Abraham eventually scored 26 goals in 40 games for the Villans.
Transfermarkt shows that 23 of those strikes came under Smith’s tutelage, and it was nice to see the pair reunited at a vastly different time for Villa as a football club.

While Abraham and Smith initially worked together in the Championship, Villa arrived in west London yesterday as a side in contention for a Champions League place.
The Midlands-based outfit are now unbeaten in five games – winning three – while they currently sit just six points off the top of the Premier League.
Smith’s side have also kept the most clean sheets in the Premier League this season with eight shut-outs in total.

They are a vastly different team to the one Abraham played in.
Let’s see what the Villa fans on Twitter have been saying about the photo…
