Tottenham Hotspur beat Crystal Palace at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, and one of the best players for Spurs was Brennan Johnson.
Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur came from a goal down to win 3-1 against Crystal Palace at home in the London derby.
Brennan Johnson did not start the match. The Wales international forward came on as a substitute in the 63rd minute.
The 22-year-old changed the match for Tottenham. It was 1-0 to Palace when Johnson came on.
The former Nottingham Forest forward provided two assists to help Tottenham to a 3-1 win in the Premier League game.
Praise for Tottenham Hotspur forward Brennan Johnson
Former Tottenham player Jamie O’Hara was impressed with Johnson, and the talkSPORT pundit thinks that he can play the role of a super sub for the North London club.

O’Hara said about Johnson on talkSPORT (7:33 pm, March 2, 2024): “He is a good sub, though, isn’t he? He is a good sub to bring on.
“I don’t think we brought him in to start him every week, and I think Brennan Johnson now, because we have got players back fit, he can come on and be like a bit of a super-sub and make things happen. I think that’s where he is at right now with Tottenham.”
My View: Brennan Johnson will play a big role for Tottenham Hotspur
In my opinion, Brennan Johnson will play a big role for Tottenham Hotspur in the final weeks and months of the season.
Spurs are in the race for the top four in the Premier League table this season. I think that Johnson will have a big say.
While the 22-year-old is not a player who always makes an impact when he starts, he is a very good option to bring on as a substitute.
Johnson has made 13 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham this campaign. He has scored three goals and given six assists in those games.
