Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after Nike released a new third kit for Jürgen Klopp’s men to wear this season.
What’s the story?
Well, it’s safe to say the Liverpool fans aren’t very happy.
Nike have created a shirt which has been compared to a McDonald’s uniform by some fans.
The shirt is primarily yellow, with bits of red trim and a chequered collar.
One supporter even said the collar alone made them want to cry!
The shirt is modelled by Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson and Takumi Minamino in the video, while Ibrahima Konate, Curtis Jones and Alisson also appear.
It’s telling that not even the handsomeness of Van Dijk, Henderson and Alisson can make this shirt look good!
Nike must step up for Liverpool

As one fan gives his opinion below, Nike been viewed as quite disappointing for the Reds ever since they replaced New Balance.
For a club with the global reach of Liverpool, it’s vital that Nike live up to their reputation and keep fans happy with attractive designs.
Having said that, special performances and exciting cup runs can make certain shirts iconic, and Liverpool have largely struggled since Nike arrived.

Nike’s first season with Liverpool was miserable, ending in a third place finish with no silverware.
In our view, it’ll take something special to make this yellow monstrosity an iconic piece – it may even take a seventh major European Cup.
For now, let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying about the new third kit…
