Tottenham Hotspur fans want Danny Ings signed, after his performance for Southampton yesterday.

Ings scored twice as Southampton cruised to a 3-1 victory over Watford, with the English striker seriously impressing.

If Tottenham were to sign Ings it is likely that they would have to spend most their summer budget to land him.

But Spurs supporters really feel that the £20 million striker (BBC Sport) would be a smart addition to their side.

Tottenham could be on the look out for a new striker in the summer, as their lack of depth up-front has been costly this season.

When Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son were out, Spurs lacked an out and out forward and their attacking threat was considerably weakened.

The problem for Ings if he was to sign for Tottenham is that he may well end up playing second fiddle to Kane.

Ings has actually outscored the Tottenham frontman this term, and whether a move to North London would appeal is, therefore, very much up for debate.
