Arsenal made it three wins from three after a routine victory over Leeds United, and it was an unusually quiet night for Aaron Ramsdale.
Barring Raphinha’s penalty, the England international had little to do as an understrength Leeds team were unable to break down Arsenal’s defence, which by now have formed into one cohesive unit.
Ramsdale, who signed for Arsenal in the summer for a reported fee of £24m, has been key to the club’s form this season, yet his performance against Leeds was one of his most quiet so far for the north London side.
However, despite barely having much to do, Ramsdale still managed to increase his reputation with Arsenal supporters following new footage from the Leeds game this weekend.
A video posted by YouTuber LUFC Lewis showed Ramsdale winding up the Leeds supporters after Emile Smith Rowe’s late goal for the Gunners to wrap up the 4-1 win.
Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka had fired Arsenal 3-0 up in the opening half, with Ramsdale barely tested as a toothless Leeds side failed to create much in what was the 23-year-old’s easiest game for the north London club so far.
Indeed, the celebrations and taunting riled up the Yorkshire support, yet for Arsenal supporters, they loved what Ramsdale did in response to Smith Rowe’s goal at the other end of the pitch.
Arsenal fans laud Ramsdale after new Leeds footage

The former Sheffield United keeper has become a quick fan favourite at the Emirates for similar celebrations in other games. And on social media, Arsenal fans were full of praise for Ramsdale’s actions against Leeds.
Here’s what some fans had to say about the new footage of Ramsdale on Twitter…
