
Arsenal climbed up to fourth place after a 2-0 win against West Ham, yet there were great scenes before the match as Aaron Ramsdale was handed the November Player of the Month award by Jack Wilshere.
The former Arsenal midfielder is currently training with the club as well as working on his coaching badges. Wilshere has helped out with the U-18 and U-23 sides in recent weeks, and last night, the ex-England international was at the Emirates Stadium to hand Ramsdale the Player of the Month award.
Wilshere was not the only former Arsenal play in attendance last night, with Kieran Gibbs also being spotted in north London as the Gunners claimed a massive result in the Premier League against the Hammers.
Ramsdale kept another clean sheet as Wilshere watched Mikel Arteta’s side dismantle West Ham with relative ease in an entertaining and dramatic match.
Goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith Rowe were all that separated the two sides as Arsenal now sit third in the Premier League table, with Manchester United and Tottenham having games in hand over the north Londoners.
Indeed, there were many talking points from the match, yet Arsenal fans on social media loved the pre-match touch of Wilshere handing Ramsdale the Player of the Month award.
