Kevin Campbell has backed Kai Havertz to be a ‘major problem’ for teams amid hearing about fan criticism and how he should be dropped from Arsenal’s starting XI.
Even though Mikel Arteta’s side have made an unbeaten start to the new season, including that dramatic win over Manchester United, it hasn’t been easy for Kai Havertz.
Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell stated on Twitter that Havertz needs ‘a bit of time’ and he is certain that will then lead to better performances.
Things got so bad for the 24-year-old on Sunday against Manchester United that it led to Michael Owen claiming that one of his actions was so bad that he had never seen a professional player do that before.
Perhaps the £331k-a-week star (GiveMeSport) needs a bit of Declan Rice magic sprinkled onto his game because the summer signing duo have had very different starts.
Either way, Campbell is keeping the faith with Havertz and he sent this clear message after hearing that he should be dropped.

Should Havertz be dropped by Mikel Arteta?
“He’ll be fine as it’ll take a bit of time!” said Campbell. “He will be a major problem for the opponents once he settles in.”
Arteta needs to be trusted with Havertz
This wasn’t a case of Havertz being Arteta’s third or fourth choice signing this summer. He wanted him from the off and he got his man.
It’s now a case of the Arsenal boss being trusted because, whilst it’s easy to shout from the outside, he is seeing a bigger, clearer and much better picture than others.
And given where Arteta has taken Arsenal during these past few years, then it wouldn’t be a surprise if this transfer does work out, in the end, it’s just a case of it needing to go through some difficult waters.
