Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson have been starring in a video with the F2 Freestylers, alongside Liverpool wonderkid Mateusz Musialowski.

During the session at the AXA Training Centre, Van Dijk hailed the 18-year-old who looks set to achieve big things in football.

What’s the story?

Well, during a crossing drill, Van Dijk decided to highlight just how good Musialowski is at whipping the ball into the box.

The Dutchman said: “Can we talk about his crossing? His crossing is magnificent! The consistency is scary.”

Jürgen Klopp often sets his side up to utilise the crossing expertise of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Robertson, which bodes well for Musialowski.

Another thing that bodes well for the teenager is Klopp’s tendency to thrust his young stars into the limelight.

This season alone, the likes of Tyler Morton have hit the headlines, while Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott have benefitted from the German’s faith in youngsters.

Now, we believe Musialowski will be next off the production line.

Liverpool have a gem in Mateusz Musialowski

This may be a bold statement, but we think Musialowski could be the best prospect to come out of Liverpool’s Academy since Alexander-Arnold.

Before joining the Reds, the Polish forward scored an astonishing 133 goals in 88 games for SMS Lodz, which equates to 1.5 goals per game.

You may remember what happened last time Klopp got his hands on a young Polish forward named Robert Lewandowski at Borussia Dortmund.

Musialowski is a slightly different player to the Bayern Munich No.9, although he still looks set to thrive in Klopp’s intense system.

If we don’t see the Katowice-born wonderkid make his Liverpool debut before the end of the season, we’ll be very surprised.
