Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is making “good progress” on his comeback from injury.
This is according to The Athletic’s Jack Pitt-Brooke, speaking on The View from the Lane podcast.
Lloris has been out of action since February, when he suffered a knee injury against Manchester City.

He is one of several Tottenham players on the sidelines at present.
Yves Bissouma, Ryan Sessegnon and Rodrigo Bentancur are also unavailable for Spurs boss Antonio Conte.
Pitt-Brooke spoke about the current injury situation at Tottenham and backed Lloris to be the first to return.
Indeed, he reckons the Frenchman could even be back for Spurs’ trip to Everton on Monday 3 April.
“I think Lloris is further progressed than Bissouma,” Pitt-Brooke said. “I think he’s making good progress.
“And I wouldn’t be that surprised if he was back for Goodison Park away, which is the first game after the international break on the Monday night.
“Whereas Bissouma is a bit further behind so I wouldn’t expect to see Bissouma in those games in early April.”
The more the merrier
It’s great to hear Lloris is on the mend and could be back right after the international break.
At the same time, Fraser Forster has been deputising admirably for the Tottenham first-choice stopper.
You could argue Spurs aren’t as desperate to have Lloris back as they would be for their midfielders.

Nonetheless, the more players are available for the run-in, the better.
And Lloris is a ‘magnificent‘ player whose experience on the pitch and in the dressing room is invaluable.
There’s so much at stake for Tottenham in the league this season, with the race for Champions League qualification hotly-contested.
