Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter in amazement after seeing what Emiliano Buendía did for Norwich against Reading today.
Why do Arsenal fans care? Well, Eurosport claim that the Gunners are expected to bid for the Argentine this summer.
If that’s true, his price tag might’ve increased a bit after what he did earlier.
In the 72nd minute of Norwich’s 4-1 win, Buendía pulled off an incredible rabona pass to Teemu Pukki, which left Arsenal fans drooling.
What makes the five-second footage of his skill even better is the fact that he fell over before doing it – Buendía basically performed the trick while getting up!
After full-time, Norwich were confirmed as champions of the Championship, so the 24-year-old will be in the Premier League with or without Arsenal next term.
Buendía has been absolutely vital for the Canaries this term.
Norwich’s No.17 picked up the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Season award for his efforts under Daniel Farke this season.
Simply put, nobody else deserved it.
Buendía has scored 14 goals in the Championship this term, while also recording 16 assists in 38 appearances.
That is a stunning amount of goal involvements, to say the least.
It’s no wonder a club of Arsenal’s stature are keen!
In our view, his form has been bittersweet for the Gunners.
Of course, supporters want to see a transfer target playing well, so that they can see what he’s capable of.
However, in this case, the South American’s efforts have surely made it more difficult for clubs to sign him this summer.
Norwich will want all of their best performers at Carrow Road to tackle the Premier League, so it will presumably take a huge offer to prise their talisman away.
