Leeds United needn’t look further for another number nine because Diego Llorente is showing everyone how it is done at Thorp Arch.
The Leeds centre-back posted footage on his Instagram where he scored a stunning overhead kick in training and he added the video with the message, ‘ready for tomorrow’s game’.
Jesse Marsch’s side are going to round-off an up and down pre-season with a home tie against Serie B side, Cagliari.

Whilst those from Yorkshire were able to secure their Premier League status on the final day of last season, Cagliari dropped to Italy’s second division after a one-point difference between them and survival.
Nonetheless, following Llorente’s goal in training, summer signing, Marc Roca, was impressed by what he saw from his new teammate and he posted in the comments section of his IG, ‘a lot of magic’.
Whilst Leeds defender, Junior Firpo, simply responded with fire emojis.
DO LEEDS NEED ANOTHER STRIKER?
Seven new faces have arrived on Yorkshire shores this summer, including a number of young stars, such as 18-year-old forward, Sonny Perkins.
But, heading into the new Premier League season, do Leeds need to dig into their pockets to sign a new striker?
The answer is probably a big fat yes because Marsch can’t rely on Patrick Bamford, or rising star, Joe Gelhardt, who impressed last season despite the club’s troubles.
It needs to be remembered that Bamford is coming back from a long-term injury, so if he blows cold for the first few weeks of the season, then don’t be surprised.
Those in the Elland Road boardroom need to learn their lesson and bulk up their forward line, or else they will be regretting it when the crunch months of the season come about.
